About the SFNIBA Logo
The Saugeen First Nation Independent Business Association (SFNIBA) logo was designed by Katie Wilhelm, an Indigenous Designer and Consultant from the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation at Neyaashiinigmiing.
The SFNIBA logo features a scenic depiction of the Lake Huron shores of Saugeen First Nation, showcasing the Land that the Saugeen First Nation has called home since time immemorial. A house shape from a previous logo for Saugeen First Nation inspired the logo design. The house has an open door, symbolizing a thriving Indigenous economy and that local companies are “open for business”. The use of a location pin motif symbolizes the convenience of discovering goods and services with SFNIBA.
