Community Beautification Plan

Community Beautification Plan garden picture

Our Community Beautification Plan provides an outline of placemaking ideas that have been developed by our community members who have expressed a desire for more community connectivity through green spaces, playground structures, lighting, trails, public art, building signs/facades and community gateway signage. Additional key considerations that were heard are building on the capacity of the community such as employing skilled tradespeople and artists in the community, mentoring youth, reconnecting with land and culture and sustainable building designs. Members feel that connectivity between spaces would inspire community unity and could be an opportunity to encourage more tourism, partnerships, and general visitations which would lead to economic growth for the community.
